I am also excited to tell everyone we are really getting into mass marketing our desserts. if you miss our all natural treats, order them from us fresh baked by the bakers dozen or frozen to cook when you are ready.

WE ARE LEAVING !!!

WOW, our lease is not going to be renewed! This will be our last at the Ryland Pike location but hang on... I will be hopefully soon opening at the Lowe Mill a version of the Rusty Torpedo. Things are progressing so come visit me there for great food with me working with Happy Tummy. Almost made it to 1 Year!!!!!!!!

Wow, I feel like I am at one of those awards show accepting a golden trophy. I would like to thank all the loyal Rusty Torpedo fans out there for helping me live out me dream this last year. I feel like I have been on vacation since this all started, it should be against the law to have this much fun and get paid for it. I am trying to organize a get to together for the week of the anniversary. That means free food for all and some great times still to be had at the Torpedo!!

The menu has had a few additions lately, I added a Rusty Burger and grilled tofu. I have decided to make the Chix Salad seasonal since I can not find grapes that taste like a real grape.

I have not seen many loyal customer cards lately, I would love to give away some free torpedoes after you buy five.

I am looking for new ideas for Torpedo ideas from ya'll, send them to my email, I read them and appreciate the opportunity to hear your ideas!!

Delivering to Five Points & Downtown

We are now delivering to the Five Points and Downtown area! If you don't feel like you have the time during your lunch break to make it out to the Rusty Torpedo, order in.

There is a $25 dollar minimum order, but that's just four torpedoes,
please by 11:30 a.m. for timely delivery.

We also cater for large groups, you can go by our regular menu or customize your on. It is $10 per guest for just party, minimum of 5 guests and please give us 24 hours before your event to give you the best possible experience.

Look for us in the Huntsville Times Go section on 11/12 for the best sandwiches of Huntsville or online at al.com/go.

We are also on WLRH during Beth Norwood's program between 12-1 p.m.

Have your event @ the Rusty Torpedo!!

Hey everyone, isn't it great we are still here!! Right now we are concentrating on expanding our services to include more private functions and delivery. Allot of you may not know we do private parties after hours at the Rusty Torpedo. So far we have several great birthday bashes here. You can eat off our regular menu or if you would like to prepare your own menu, we can do that for a fee of $10.00 per guest at a minimum of 5 guests. Sounds good right? No cooking, no mess, and lots of room to party.
We have also been doing allot of deliveries to various businesses in the area for orders over $25. It's really growing and what a great time we're having meeting new people that are quickly becoming our friends. Thanks again for supporting the Rusty Torpedo and come by and see what's new on the menu!!!

The 6 month Mark is over!!!!!!!

Hey everyone, we survived the sixth month mark!!! Thanks to all the great patrons that have become great friends helping us still be here. The critics of small business owners say the first year is the hardest. I hope the first six month was the uphill and now we are sailing down. I continue to add new sauces and torpedoes weekly to try for a place on the menu. My new favorite is Mermaid salad on spinach feta Fred Bread with the new Sesane sauce. If you like sesame seeds, you will love this sauce.I want to say thanks again to all the great people who make the trip out every day to get a Rusty Torpedo fix. I am loving what I am doing and hopefully it is showing in my food. Do what you love and put love in every thing you do!!!!!

Fourth of July Specials!!!

Hey to all our loyal patrons!! We are having plate lunches on July 4th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can choose from smothered chicken or falafel, and 2 sides including baked beans, cucumber tomato salad, & vinegar slaw. Since my last post we added the Mario meatball sandwich on a Fred bread bun. Its getting great response. Thanks again for making the Rusty Torpedo my dream come true!!

We made it past tax day!!!!!

Hey everyone, I am so happy we made it past tax day!!!! I have added 2 new torpedoes since my last post. We now have a green monster wrap that's avocado spread and all the veggies, plus cheese & chipotle sauce. Next, I added Sweet gobblin Porker, it's turkey, bacon and sweet sour mustard. Everyone needs to come out and try this great new additions to the Rusty Torpedo. Thanks again for helping us have a great start to our new business here in Ryland!!

First Month in Business!!!

First month in Business! Hey everyone, we have been open for a month now and have many loyal customers already. I would love to make more friends in the community and show them how great our torpedoes are. We specialize in freshness, originality, and in not being like a chain sub shop. There are some great artist friends of mine that let me showcase their work on the walls, and I hope to have a featured artist party soon on the third Friday night of every month. I have also thought about starting a book club because I am a avid reader and really enjoy discussing good books with my friends. There have been many offers from customers about having music on the weekends at the shop. Hope to get the feel from everyone on these topics. Thanks for everything!!!!
